Uncover the trade secrets of successful digital photographers! A course which sets out to show some of the tools that the creative individual has available in image editing software.
Editing images and creating visuals has never been easier but for those not wishing to spend more time than necessary at the computer, the wheat needs sorting from the chaff and a few basic shortcuts need to be found.
This course is suitable for both beginners and for those who have some experience of photoshop. The basics will be addressed, getting the size and colour right, scanning for printing and website purposes, simple fixes for common problems and outputting and archiving.
Creative techniques will be covered that allow us to produce distinctive and professional images, these include creating patterns and textures from images, layering and making photo collages and using text creatively.
You will be amazed at how easy it is to learn the tricks of the trade and produce really great images! Equipment will be provided for the course but you are welcome to bring your own portable computer if you wish.
