Inspirational Floristry - £325
A comprehensive Design led floristry course for those who have a passion for flowers. Suitable for beginners or for those who wish to further their skills and perhaps seek a career in floristry.
Based upon the changing seasons, an array of colour, texture and decoration will be used to create exciting and innovative floral designs to compliment any occasion or Interior scheme.
The Autumn course will cover include: All round hand tied bouquet of seasonal flowers and berries etc. A hanging design to to be displayed on a wall using twigs, woven materials and single flower heads.
Seasonal table decoration in oasis and matching napkin rings - impress your guests!.
The skills which will be taught are basic wiring techniques and a hand tied bouquet with stems that spiral. How to aqua pack a bouquet and different methods of hiding the tie point to finish the bouquet.
How to make an arrangement in oasis, weaving and threading techniques, curling foliage etc. for use in a wall hanging.
Time permitting.....a modern corsage or parcel decoration made from coloured wire with a sprinkling of Berries and a touch of Foliage! Students will complete four or five designs to take home at the end of the course.
