This course will teach you how to make a basic lined curtain and also an interlined curtain, a sample of each will be made during the day.  You will also learn how to create mitred corners and how to apply weights.

In addition you will be shown how to pattern match,be taught different stitches and how to calculate fabric quantities. An introduction to hand made headings will also be covered.  The course will cover inspiring ideas for making your curtains more individual by using trims and contrast fabrics and will discuss various types of window dressings.

A lovely selection of designer fabrics and trims will be supplied ranging from Colefax & Fowler to Designers Guild.
